Get ready for an adrenaline-packed showdown as the European rafting series gears up for an electrifying new race hosted by the Czech Republic! Scheduled from May 24th to 26th, this event is set to light up the World Rafting Federation's 2024 calendar with pure excitement.
Organized by the Association of Boaters of the Czech Republic and Raft Club Troja Prague, this epic showdown will take place at the renowned Slalom course in Prague Troja. It's the ultimate venue for an intense rafting battle right in the heart of the Czech Republic.
Teams from all over Europe and beyond are invited to join in on the action! Registration is open until May 20th. European teams can sign up through the WRF platform, while Czech teams should register via the SVoČR platform. Just remember, all teams must have WRF membership, available online.
As the race day approaches, all eyes will be on the Czech Republic, ready to witness the thrill and drama unfold on the rapids of Prague Troja. With its breathtaking scenery and challenging course, this event is sure to leave a lasting impression on both competitors and spectators, solidifying the Czech Republic as a top-notch rafting destination.

The wild waters of the Paiva River are about to get even more exciting with the 4th edition of the Arouca Rafting Summit from January 24th to 28th. This event aims to showcase and celebrate white-water activities, especially rafting on the Paiva River, with a mix of thrilling experiences.
The event starts with an inclusive rafting session: "Rafting for All," organized for people with visual impairments. Another activity, "Rafting x Future," involves 12th-grade students from Arouca and Escariz schools, offering them a chance to experience and learn about rafting on the renowned Paiva River.
Focal point of the event will be the "Portuguese Rafting Cup - Open," organized by the Portuguese Canoe Federation and set for January 27th. Athletes can register at www.fpcanoagem.pt.
During the summit an another highlight is the "Mountain Heli-Rescue" seminar and rescue simulation on January 26th. This event is for professionals from tourist companies, sports clubs, and security forces. It includes representatives from the Portuguese Air Force and the National Authority for Emergency and Civil Protection (ANEPC).
The event concludes on January 28th with a promotional rafting session open to public and private entities involved in tourism.
The Paiva River is considered one of Europe's best white-water tracks. With the Arouca Rafting Summit, the organization wants to showcase the potential of the natural heritage, especially in winter, offering memorable experiences for both visitors and locals, including young people trying rafting for the first time during this event - says Margarida Belém, the Mayor of Arouca.
The Arouca Rafting Summit is organized by the Municipality of Arouca in collaboration with the Portuguese Canoe Federation, Clube do Paiva, Just Come, LusoRafting, NaTour Way, and AGA - Arouca Geopark Association. Support comes from the Canoeing and White-Water Club of Portugal, the Alvarenga Parish Council, and the Union of Canelas and Espiunca Parishes.
