In the heart of Croatia's scenic riverways, the inaugural Euro Rafting Cup unfolded with a torrent of excitement and adrenaline. Hosted on the Cetina river the race was the first stage of the 2024 Euro Cup Series and Croatia had proven itself a formidable host, and the spirit of rafting thrived in its waters.
In the men's category Koncar 1 won the gold medal with 268 points in total (RX 108, Slalom 80, Downriver 80) ahead of the teams: Italy Garfagnana and Cetina Raft. In the women's division Italy conquered the first place with a total o 288 points (RX 108, Slalom 100, Downriver 80) followed by Koncar; meanwhile in the mix category Koncar with a total of 280 points win the overall (RX 120, Slalom 80, Downriver 80) followed by Italy RKA and Italy Garfagnana.

The bulletin for the Wildalpen 2024 - WRF international competition has been published.
It is noted that in order to ensure a smooth transition, exceptionally for the 2024 edition, the competition will be held according to national rules (no RX format).
The boats used will be the " Aquadesign - WRF competition raft". Teams in possession of this model will be able to use their own boat. Registrations will not take place through the platform but directly with the organizers, as indicated in the document attached.

May 21-23rd - WRF guide class 3 - Guiding: manoeuvres: eddy in/ out, ferries, running rapids. Comparing techniques of italian and French guides. Language skills: in Italian: river features, commands, briefing.
May 24th - Day off. Free touristic visit.
May 25 to 28th - WRF guide class 3 - Safety kayaks, trip leader, communication on the river, raft trip organisation.
May 29th - WRF class 3 river guide certification.
May 30th - Kayaking. Discovering of the nearby valleys Travel home.

Get ready for an adrenaline-packed showdown as the European rafting series gears up for an electrifying new race hosted by the Czech Republic! Scheduled from May 24th to 26th, this event is set to light up the World Rafting Federation's 2024 calendar with pure excitement.
Organized by the Association of Boaters of the Czech Republic and Raft Club Troja Prague, this epic showdown will take place at the renowned Slalom course in Prague Troja. It's the ultimate venue for an intense rafting battle right in the heart of the Czech Republic.
Teams from all over Europe and beyond are invited to join in on the action! Registration is open until May 20th. European teams can sign up through the WRF platform, while Czech teams should register via the SVoČR platform. Just remember, all teams must have WRF membership, available online.
